Meow Pampered Puss

So I got my Meow Samples in yesterday.. I then proceeded to try everything. I didn't swatch any of the foundations, Only the concealers. The Foundations all matched pretty well, so I couldn't differentiate which went where xD I shall attempt it again though just so you all can see.
Now I got my package in about a 8 days and I ordered just before Thanksgiving which I was very impressed with.
I ordered 6 foundation samples, 3 in Sphynx, Inquisitive, Sleek and Frisky and then the same 3 shades in Siamese, I also got the Equilibrium and Balancing primer, I also ordered 2 concealers one in Sphynx 1-Sleek and the other in Siamese 1-sleek and ordered the Lush Blush in Hugs and Kitties. Along with my order I got 2 samples a Blush sample called Tickled pink and a Feliner called Sweaty paws, which is a platinum with silver sparkles. I have tried the blush which I do like but, I have yet to try the feliner maybe today ;).
Now here is some photos of my order...

Now for my lovely concealer swatches.. I will try and get the foundation swatches up this week so stay posted...
The Sphynx is the first one showed and Siamese is the other i think Sphynx goes better, though both could work..

Now out of the samples I got I really think they all match very well except the frisky colors are a bit dark for me.. maybe more a summer color. I think that Sphynx in both Inquisitive and Sleek are my best matches. Siamese also works in both Inquisitive and Sleek as well but I think the inquisitive was a better match for right now...
^Before work with Sphynx 1-Sleek..^
^Sphynx 0-inquisitive^
and Last but not lest Siamese 0-inquisitive.. I love this photo I am currently wearing my xbox headset..

I think when I order my full sizes I might go with Sphynx with 1-sleek or 0-inquisitive.. I have to decide for certain. Now I love the Equilibrium and Balancing primer.. that will be a HG for me, I used it with out moisturizer and preferred it, over with the moisturizer. My skin is combination sometimes I get dry patches and other times I will get oily spots in my t-zone area. Not only did the primer help that, I find since using meow products my skin isn't breaking out nearly as bad as it did with liquid foundation. I so far have loved my experience with Meow cosmetics and plan on buying full sizes and continuing to use meow products.

Now I made a little un-boxing video it's kind of bad but I shall post it anyways. In the video you meet my Kitty Dewy and I am wearing a Gears of War shirt best video game ever ;)

Thanks guys hope you enjoy,

Black Friday fun..

Hello Everyone.. *cough* Jess and Chelc ;)

Sorry I haven't been around much been a busy girl.. between working, Gears of War 3 and Plotting to get stuff from my never ending wish list.
So today was very eventful.. I slept about 3 hours, then worked 5, then went out and got my new cell phone whooo... which was followed by playing Gears and then going to Ulta, All while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
My plan was to only get the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk at Ulta since I have a few samples coming from Meow Mineral Cosmetics, and since I just spent a bunch on a cell phone, and also have a wish list the size of texas full of makeup, books and video games.. Stuff every girl dreams of right :P
While at Ulta they of course are out of the damn Milk Pencil so I gave in to temptation finally and bought the Urban Decay, 24/7 Travel set in Electric. I have been eyeing this set for a little while now, my current eyeliner I use sucks, its like the maybelline pencil in black. I have raccoon eyes every time I come home for work, drives me crazy.
Now I have yet to try these pencils but once I do, I of course will write about it ;)

Cruelty free is the way to be.. Ester totally loves UD products since they do not test on Animals

Oops took this upside down xD

Yay

So yesterday I got my Urban Decay Haul package, with 15th anniversary palette finally and my 2 squeeze tube Primers in Orignal and Sin. I also received a sample of Lip junkie in Wildflower. Now I haven't tried any of the products yet. I will be wearing some tonight at work and I shall get back to everyone on how that works out and what colors I used all that awesomeness :D

I made a short video for everyone.. I know its kinda lame but it was my first one ;)

Now I am hoping in the near future to try ordering some samples from Shiro cosmetics, I also am interested in trying Mineral makeup. I am thinking about trying Meow cosmetics, they have a wide variety of colors to choose from and are named after cats.
I researched a few different brands Bare Minerals and Everyday Minerals mostly, but for some reason Meow cosmetics has been calling to me. I also have to invest in a nice set of foundation brushes. Gosh my wishlist just keeps getting bigger the more stuff I get...
I might get on later after work with another entry maybe another video too if I decide not to be lazy :P

Noob blog

Hello Blog World,

I decided I would jump off the blogging bridge and start my own. I figured I would make a little place for myself to write about stuff.  Mostly makeup and possibly books and maybe some games if I feel like it. I hope you enjoy :D

Now I have had the Naked Palette for a little while now and I would love to getting around to show that off a little. I love the Palette it is my very first Urban Decay product and I am in love with the colors. The shadow is buttery, smooth, and pigmented. Half baked has to be my favorite shadow on the palette, it's a beautiful gold color that secretly reminds me of my dog.  This palette has a wonderful selection of colors, so you can wear it everyday or wear it out with a smoky eye, its very versatile for everyone. Though if you don't like sparkle or shimmer then maybe this isn't the ideal palette considering there are 2 matte colors in this palette.
The Brush with the palette isn't the best, I find it doesn't hold the shadow well and doesn't feel as nice, as the Tokidoki Pittura brushes I have.
Naked Palette also comes with the Urban Decay Primer Potion. I have always had a problem with shadows creasing and I never even knew about Eyeshadow primers until recently. I feel as all my problems are solved, with this little bottle, my shadows stay put with this product.

Long Story short I would recommend the Naked Palette for anyone, it has neutrals and sparkle for every occasion.
